Compound Allocation

All hall offers are subject to availability and nomination by the Exchange Coordinators. There is no guarantee that bed places will be granted to applicants. The period of stay will be confined to the exchange term as agreed by City University of Hong Kong and the home university.

All Inbound Exchange Students (IES) will be assigned to the Ma On Shan (MOS) Compound according to the Hall Admission Policy.

*Starting from 2026/27, respective Exchange Coordinators have the right to nominate a very limited number of IES to the Kowloon Tong (KLNT) Compound.

Important Notes

  1. Students who have physical disabilities, medical reasons or special needs for a double room of single occupancy should enclose supporting documents in the hall application for case-by-case consideration and arrangement. Successful applicants will be required to pay the hall charges double (HK$12,500 x 2 = HK$25,000 per semester per person).
