CityU students display creativity at media exhibition

Over 40 outstanding artworks will be showcased at the “Playful Media 2015” exhibition organised by the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong (CityU) from 22 June to 2 July.

The artworks created by the students combine technology and art. They demonstrate the students’ spirit of discovery and their ability to innovate. They also reveal the creative application of classroom learning to digital entertainment, and a sense of social responsibility. The works include:

The game was awarded the “Silver Award” and “The Most Creative Game Award” at the 2015 Game Competition Expo organised by Hong Kong Game Development Association on 13 June.

·        Overview Effect, a 20-minute sci-fi film that explores the coexistence of Hong Kong people and aliens in the future. The aim is to raise public awareness of social problems in Hong Kong.
