Two alumni of the School of Creative Media at CityU were honoured at the 17th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards by Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
Organised by CityU and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Jockey Club Project IDEA held its 1st annual exhibition from 3 to 7 August 2023. The exhibition showcased 28 artworks by participating secondary school students and three works by workshop instructors.
CityU will offer a new General Education course on “Cinema: East and West” in Semester B 2007-08 to enable students to appreciate the art of cinema from various perspectives and enhance their understanding of historical and cultural issues by studying films.
A University Development Forum was held on 30 November to introduce to students and staff the learning outcomes of the GE Programme and the content of six new GE courses.
The interactive installation art work "Meta-fishpond" designed by Tomy Choi Chi-chung, a graduate of CityU's School of Creative Media, has won international acclaim for a website video and a local design award.
