Professor Freddy Boey Yin Chiang, President of CityU, together with members of the University community, have congratulated alumna Grace Lau Mo-sheung on winning a Gold medal in the Women’s Kata event in the AKF Senior Championships 2023 held in Malaysia on 21 July. Grace has made history by winning the first Gold medal in this championship for Hong Kong.
CityU encourages students to participate in student exchange programmes to broaden their horizons and equip themselves with the qualities needed to become a professional.
New measures have been introduced into this year’s student elections at CityU: an election website where candidates can promote their platforms and electronic polling to simplify vote-counting.
