Professor Freddy Boey Yin Chiang, President of CityU, together with members of the University community, have congratulated alumna Grace Lau Mo-sheung on winning a Gold medal in the Women’s Kata event in the AKF Senior Championships 2023 held in Malaysia on 21 July. Grace has made history by winning the first Gold medal in this championship for Hong Kong.
Researchers from CityU received 36 awards at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. This is the third year running that CityU has received the highest number of awards among local institutions.
