15 academic subjects at CityU have been ranked in the top 50 in the world, according to the ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2022, while Library and Information Science is ranked 2nd globally. These results place CityU 1st among Hong Kong universities for five consecutive years in terms of the highest number of subjects included in the top 50 GRAS list.

Celebrating CityU’s inaugural University Day!
The inaugural University Day (U-Day) 2022 held at CityU on 18 March, introduced a new University Mascot, a fresh version of the University Anthem, and a series of celebratory activities.
