Professor Freddy Boey Yin Chiang, President of CityU, together with members of the University community, have congratulated alumna Grace Lau Mo-sheung on winning a Gold medal in the Women’s Kata event in the AKF Senior Championships 2023 held in Malaysia on 21 July. Grace has made history by winning the first Gold medal in this championship for Hong Kong.
More than 20 members of the CityU community have been named on the 2023 HKSAR Honours List for their significant contributions to Hong Kong and their dedicated public and community service.
A highly talented filmmaker and alumnus of CityU has won the Best New Director Award and the Best Original Screenplay Award at the 59th Golden Horse Awards for his first feature film, The Sunny Side of the Street.
