Mr Nicholas Yang Wei-hsiung, Secretary for Innovation and Technology, visited CityU on 3 May to find out more about the University’s research- and innovation-related activities.
Speaking to more than 120 veterinary professionals at an annual dinner of the Peace Avenue Veterinary Clinic, Professor Way Kuo, CityU President, discussed the importance to Hong Kong of a new veterinary school.
More than 20 CityU faculty, staff and students took a tour on the visiting floating university, MV Explorer, to gain a first-hand experience of on-board education, on 23 February.
"Successful communication depends more upon content and sincerity than language itself," said Professor Way Kuo, University President, addressing secondary students and their teachers at a Distinguished Lecture organised by The Jockey Club Eduyoung College.
