More than 20 CityU faculty, staff and students took a tour on the visiting floating university, MV Explorer, to gain a first-hand experience of on-board education, on 23 February.
A team of student ambassadors pledged on 5 February to promote the image of CityU, bolster community relations, foster a sense of belonging among its members, and personally commit themselves to whole-person development, at their Inauguration Ceremony.
"It is easier to generate academic achievement if individual scholars are allowed to conduct research according to their interests and impulses,” said Professor Lin Yu-sheng on the theoretical foundations of academic freedom.
