Mr Ong Siew Gay, the Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong, led a delegation to visit CityU on 10 October. During the visit, Mr Ong met with Professor Freddy Boey Yin Chiang, CityU President, to explore collaboration opportunities between Singapore and CityU.
Professor Way Kuo travelled to Beijing from 21 to 24 December and met the leaders of several government departments and institutions to strengthen ties and build upon the foundations of CityU's development in mainland China.
