An open forum on the new remuneration package for academic faculty was held by the University on 21 October, during which faculty were provided with details of the new package and given the chance to offer feedback.
More than 40 children of bereaved and single parent families, and their family members, enjoyed a day of songs, dancing, stories and games on 18 October thanks to a group of students from the Department of Applied Social Studies of CityU.
The CityU community has initiated various campaigns to help the victims of the Sichuan earthquake. Teachers and students in the Department of Applied Social Studies have formed a concern group and plan to provide counselling service for the survivors.
