Three CityU scientists were conferred second-class honours under the State Natural Science Award and the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
The final of the Hong Kong Underwater Robot Challenge 2008, jointly organised by CityU and WWF, took place on 6 April in the CityU swimming pool, with The Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary School team beating 20 other entries in a high standard competition.
