The first Graduation Gala of CityU's BVM was held on 28 October. With the recent attainment of direct accreditation from both the RCVS and the AVBC, all 11 BVM graduates of the leading cohort completed registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong and obtained their license to practise as veterinary surgeons.
Earlier this month, a team of volunteers from Animals Asia took their dogs to CityU to meet with students, as “Professor Paws”.
More than 400 local, mainland and overseas students from CityU have participated in the City-Youth Empowerment Project in this academic year to offer their volunteer services to the needy, while strengthening their self confidence and commitment to society.
The 23rd Students' Union Executive Committee, Union Council, Arbitration Committee, Editorial Board and other student societies vowed to serve the students at a joint inauguration ceremony on 7 March.
