A creative and highly practical mobile app developed by a CityU computer science student has won a Gold Award at the 2012 Pan-Pearl River Delta University Student IT Project Competition.
CityU held the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Multi-media Building on 26 March. The building will be a focal point for the development of creative media in Asia.
Almost 1,000 students from 72 schools gathered at CityU for the 21st Century Competence for Youth (IT in Visual Arts) Competition co-organised by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited and the AIMtech Centre of CityU.
