Overall consumer confidence has dropped in Hong Kong, mainland China and Macau compared to the previous quarter, according to a recent survey conducted by CityU, while confidence in Taiwan rose.
The Department of Management Sciences announced the findings of the CityU-Hong Kong Consumer Satisfaction Index 2006 on 21 December. The findings show that the CityU-HKCSI hit a record high of 70.1, up 1.2% from 2005.
