CityU held the Graduate Studies Information Day on 12 January to introduce to the prospective students various postgraduate study programmes offered at CityU.
The opening ceremony of the University of Science and Technology of China -- City University of Hong Kong Joint Advanced Research Centre was held on 17 October. The Centre, located in Suzhou, marks an important milestone in advancing CityU's research base.
A CityU delegation led by Professor David Tong, Deputy President, and Shenzhen officials led by Mr Liu Yingli, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, officiated at the milestone groundbreaking ceremony for the University's Shenzhen Outpost.
Professor Roderick Wong, Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, expounded on plans to boost applied research at the University Development Forum on 5 October.
