CityU presented more than 500 scholarships worth HK$11 million to outstanding students with funds donated by professional bodies, charitable trust funds, private firms, the CityU Staff Giving Club and alumni on 19 March.
CityU graduates are highly sought after by employers. Around 96% of graduates were employed or pursued further studies in 2004. Their average monthly salary rose almost 8%.
CityU clinched the Men's Overall Champion and Women's Overall Second Runner-up titles in the 2004-05 Hong Kong Post-Secondary Colleges Athletic Association competitions.
