More than 250 students attended an orientation recently for the Supplemental Instruction Scheme set up by the Faculty of Business (FB) to help freshmen adjust to university learning styles.
A welcoming reception for mainland students joining CityU was held on 14 September. They were the first batch of students recruited through the National Joint College Entrance Examination Scheme.
CityU will hold a University Day cum CityU Banquet on the evening of 21 October (Friday) 2005. This will be an opportunity to lift spirits, enhance a sense of campus community and unify University stakeholders.

Student residents respond to the University's call for donations. In early April 2004, students launched a hostel-wide fundraising campaign to rally support for the cause.
