Five students from the School of Creative Media have won awards in the Single-Screen-Based Interactive Media Category and Animation Category at the 13th Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards.
Wong Wai-nap, a second year student from CityU’s School of Creative Media co-produced the film Distance with other 10 students to earn a Special Mention in the Third Fresh Wave Short Film Competition’s student division.
More than 50 staff members and students participated in “Double Beat - Recitation and Singing”, a performance co-organised by Student Development Services of CityU and the CCCU Division of Language Studies on 3 April.
Steven J Ross/AOL Time Warner Professor and Dean Elizabeth Daley, and Associate Dean, Academic Affairs, Dr Richard Jewell of the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television (USC) were hosted by CityU, 12 to 17 September.
