Naming of Chu Wong Yim Fong Classroom

Classroom P4-704 in Yeung Kin Man Academic Building at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) has been named “Chu Wong Yim Fong Classroom” in appreciation of the generous support of the Chu Wong Yim Fong Charitable Foundation (the Foundation).

The naming ceremony on 21 August was attended by Mr Chu Hung-kwan, representative of the Foundation, and his family members; Professor Matthew Lee Kwok-on, Vice-President (Development and External Relations); and Ms Kathy Chan Yin-ling, Associate Vice-President (Development and Alumni Relations).

In his welcome remarks, Professor Lee thanked the Foundation for setting up scholarships and bursaries in recognition of the achievements of our outstanding students and for providing financial assistance to students in need.

Professor Lee also expressed his appreciation for the Foundation’s keen participation in education and charity affairs in mainland China.
