CityU workshop examines healthcare delivery system

A workshop hosted by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 5 January offered researchers and practitioners a platform for sharing ideas on how to design and operate a world-class healthcare delivery system.
 
The Healthcare Management Workshop organised by the Department of Management Sciences and the Department of System Engineering and Engineering Management of CityU consisted of five keynote presentations and one panel discussion delivered by distinguished researchers and healthcare practitioners from the US, Canada, France and Hong Kong.
 
The workshop attracted 165 academic in related disciplines—management science, operations management, systems engineering, among other—and industrial participants including people from world-leading schools such as MIT, Columbia University, New York University, University of British Columbia, and from regional universities such as National University of Singapore, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, and Tsinghua University.
