A HK$200-million donation from a local entrepreneur to CityUHK will support our School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), students' overseas exchanges, endowed Chair Professorships and other strategic developments. The gift from Mr Yeung Kin-man, founder and chief executive of Biel Crystal (HK) Manufactory Limited, shows that society recognises and supports CityUHK’s professional education and technology research.

The Classroom Y5202 in Academic 1 at CityUHK was named after Rotary Club of New Territories on 22 August 2015 in recognition of the generous support from Dr Peter Pang, District Governor 2015-16 of Rotary District 3450, and Mr Or Sik-ling, Foundation Committee Chairman of Rotary Club of New Territories, for the University.

CityUHK has received HK$5 million donation from Dr Koo Ming-kown, founder of the Nam Tai Group and Honorary Graduate of CityUHK, to support the University's strategic initiatives.

At a scholarship presentation ceremony held by CityUHK on 28 April 2015, 12 students from different departments received scholarships donated by Chow Sang Sang Holdings International Ltd. The scholarships will sponsor them to go to the US to study as a part of the Joint Bachelor's Degree Program between CityUHK and Columbia University.
