On 24 November 2024, CityUHK celebrated its 30th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of the Foundation with a grand banquet attended by stakeholders, staff, students, and alumni. During this milestone event, the University officially launched the “CityUHK Endowment Campaign,” aimed at securing sustainable resources for its future and the next generations.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted the naming ceremony for the Benjamin & Anny Kwok Conference Room on 4 October, on the 4/F of the Yip Kit Chuen Building, in recognition of alumnus Mr Benjamin Kwok, Managing Director of Kwonnie Electrical Products Limited, and his family's steadfast support for the University.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted the naming ceremony for the Yip Kit Chuen Building on 3 October. The building is named after Dr Yip Kit-chuen, a prominent industrialist and entrepreneur in Hong Kong, in appreciation of his generous donations to the University’s development and research to nurture future talent.

The "CoolThink@JC" program held its fourth Parent Seminar, "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computational Thinking: Leading a New Direction in Learning Trends" on August 17, at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). The event aimed to help parents better understand how emerging technologies can be utilized by both themselves and schools to enhance children's learning and maximise the development of their potential. The seminar also featured an AI interactive experience session, showcasing various AI technologies for parents and children to explore and try out.
