The sixteen Dialogue Series with Consuls General was held on 27 September 2022. Mr. Pablo MACEDO, Consul General of Mexico in Hong Kong, talked with over 60 CityU students and staff on the topic of “Ancient History and Global Perspective in Mexico”. Professor Raymond CHAN, Vice-President (Student Affairs), delivered a welcoming speech at the beginning of the seminar.

Mr. MACEDO shared the history, tradition, and culture of Mexico, and discussed the various linkages between Mexico and Hong Kong. The audience enjoyed his introduction very much and numerous questions about further study and business opportunities in Mexico were raised.

The Dialogue Series with Consuls General continues to enrich students’ global consciousness and cross-cultural understanding.
