The different skill sets of professionals demanded by society change with the times. To keep abreast with the development of industries, CityU’s College of Science will offer new undergraduate programmes in the coming academic year to meet the needs of society for professionals equipped with cross-disciplinary trainings. The new programmes include a Bachelor of Science degree programme that exposes the students to the world of new scientific discoveries and innovative technologies, a law-math double degree programme, the first ever offered in Hong Kong, and joint bachelor’s degree programmes offered in partnership with the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester in the UK.

Professor Raymond Chan Hon-fu, Dean of the College of Science, Professor Tan Cheng-han, Dean of the School of Law, and representatives from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester will present the features of the new programmes at the press conference. Dr Daniel Yip Chung-yin, Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, will elaborate on the market potentials of the new programmes.
