The Department of Electronic Engineering of CityU was ranked second worldwide, according to a recent survey conducted by Yuan Ze University in Taiwan.
CityU graduates have swept up most of the prizes in the Best Paper Awards at the 6th IEEE (Hong Kong) Antennas and Propagation/Microwave Theory and Techniques Postgraduate Conference.
Double congratulations are due to Dr Kenji Yum. Not only will he graduate from CityU this week with a PhD in Electronic Engineering, he has also been awarded the Certificate of Excellence in the 2005 Hong Kong Young Scientist Awards.
City University of Hong Kong and The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau of Macao SAR signed an agreement on collaborative research to enhance atmospheric science for both regions, 31 August.
The FSE Summer Day Camp offers secondary school students a chance to experience what learning at university level is like.
