The annual BuiltExpo 2006, organized by the Division of Building Science and Technology, showcases 90 final-year projects that integrate elements of sustainable development.
CityU's Division of Building Science and Technology presented BuiltExpo 2005 on campus on 8 and 9 April, with the theme of "Sustainable Development: Hong Kong Perspective".
“The rapid development of technology induces significant changes in the design, construction and facilities of modern buildings and our living environment,” said Mrs Julie Mo, Head of the Division of Building Science and Technology (BST), who opened the Built Expo, 2-3 April 2004.
Creativity, dynamism, commitment-the spirit of the students of the Division of Building Science and Technology (BST) was on display at Built Expo 2003 on 9 and 10 June.
City University's third annual WebCourse Fair 2003 kicked off on 14 January with a virtual exhibition showcasing the use of the Internet for teaching and learning. Around 30 teaching staff members shared online how they make use of audio-visual learning packages, online quizzes, self-assessment tools and 3D animations to stimulate students' interest.
Organized by CityU's Division of Building Science and Technology (BST), BuiltExpo 2002 attracted around 3 ,000 visitors to its opening ceremony, exhibition and seminars.
Last July, Mr Eric Cheng, Senior Lecturer in the Division of Building Science and Technology, joined the Third China Synergy Programme (CSP) for Outstanding Youth as a Group Mentor. He and a Coordinator worked with 20 mentees in the group, which was one of the 12 groups which participated in the programme.

Featuring a two-day exhibition of over 80 works by final-year students in the Division of Building Science and Technology's Higher Diploma Programmes, the ninth annual Built Expo got off to a fine start with welcoming speeches by Mr C M Jeung JP, Director of Buildings, the Buildings Department of the HKSAR, and Professor Edmond I Ko, Vice-President, Education.
