CityU signed a MoU with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and four local universities on 20 October to establish the Central Bank Digital Currency Expert Group.
Mr Ong Siew Gay, the Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong, led a delegation to visit CityU on 10 October. During the visit, Mr Ong met with Professor Freddy Boey Yin Chiang, CityU President, to explore collaboration opportunities between Singapore and CityU.
