Five young academics at CityU have been awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macau) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for 2023.
Dr Xiao Qiao, Assistant Professor in the School of Data Science at CityU, received the 2022 Amazon Research Award in the research area of Applied Machine Learning with his research proposal titled “Predicting Successful Scientific Collaborations”.
