Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung, an alumna of CityU, returned to her alma mater on 19 August to attend a celebratory gathering after winning the Bronze medal for Hong Kong in the Karate Women’s Kata in the Tokyo Olympics.
CityU alumna Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung, a female karate specialist, will compete in the Karate Women’s Kata in the Tokyo Olympics at 9am (HKT) on 5 Aug (Thursday), vying for a gold medal for Hong Kong. President Way Kuo will join the teachers, students and alumni to watch the live broadcast on the CityU campus and cheer together for Grace.
Mr Tobias Gremmler, Visiting Associate Professor at the School of Creative Media, gave an inspiring talk on creative education on 25 September.
The spectacular new media artworks showcased on the facade of the International Commerce Centre and at the Edinburgh Place in Central are parts of the large scale media arts exhibitions organised by CityU.
