The grand opening on 28 October of the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre at CityU has ushered in a new era for creative media in Asia.
A panoramic video installation showcasing traditional Jiao festivals is CityU's contribution to a major cultural exhibition titled “Genesis and Spirit: A Showcase of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China” at the Hong Kong Central Library this month.
CityU has received a HK$100 million donation from The Shaw Foundation to sponsor the University’s development. In appreciation of Sir Run Run Shaw’s significant support and contributions to CityU over the years, a cheque presentation ceremony was held on 22 September.
