The Covid-19 pandemic contains the kind of multi-element problems evident in systems that require careful analysis in order to prevent delays and minimise chaotic responses, according to President Way Kuo of CityU.
CityU moved up three places to rank 15th among the top Asian universities, according to the 2010 Asian University Rankings published by QS.
"To maintain Hong Kong’s uniqueness and competitiveness, we must invest in scientific research and encourage creativity," said Professor Way Kuo, University President, addressing over 300 secondary and tertiary students at a forum held on 11 May.
Distinguished speakers with outstanding achievements attended a CityU seminar on 8 May to share their views with senior secondary students on how teenagers can maintain the momentum in their lives in face of constant challenges.
