CityU held the A+++ Scholarship Schemes Presentation Ceremony on 24 October and awarded scholarships to 44 first-year students who had registered outstanding academic and sporting achievements.
Two Creative Media students attended “Tokyo Game Show 2007”, one of the most renowned gaming expos in the world, through the Government’s “I.T. Exchange Programmes 2006/07”. They were among the first selected to attend the event through the scheme.
Mr David Cheung Wai-sun, a master graduate of the School of Creative Media, has invented a "High Sensitivity Field Interference Wander Detector" to help prevent old people from wandering away. The detector has been installed in six local elderly homes.
