As part of continuing efforts to bolster mutual understanding with the CityU community, Professor Way Kuo, University President, hosted “The Express Way to Kuo” Tea Gathering with administration staff on 27 March.
Exchange students from around the world participated in “The World’s Local Festival” organised by the College of Business. Together with local and mainland students, they celebrated global festivals and experienced the cultural diversity of the world.
Nearly 200 Year 2 business students spent their summer vacation gaining real work experience in a variety of organizations through the internship programmes offered by the Faculty of Business.
A group of CityU students said their experience on the AIA Young Leaders Development Programme 2006 broadened their horizons and enhanced their understanding of leadership.
CityU has admitted 400 students from the mainland since last year. They aspire to make the best use of their time at CityU to lay a solid foundation for their future.
CityU named Student Residence Hall 6 after Dr Lee Shau-kee at a ceremony in appreciation of Dr Lee's contribution to the development of CityU and the education sector.
