A creative media expert at CityU has received an international award from Google Research in recognition of her promising work on the development of voice interaction for text composition.
CityU held the "Welcoming Ceremony of the Student Orientation 2006" from 29 to 31 August under the theme "From Student to Professional" for new students.
Mr Lam Kwong-yu, the Founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Starlite Holdings Ltd, visited CityU and told his success story at the CEO Forum organized by the EMBA programme of CityU's Faculty of Business on 17 August.
