Congratulations to Professor Alfred Ho Tat-kei of CityU on his election as a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. He is the only Fellow elected from Asia this year, emphasising the lead that CityU is taking in the field of public administration.
CityU's FSE has again reached out to secondary school students this summer to boost their interest in science and engineering.
In early September CityU embarked on a proactive plan to implement Outcomes Based Teaching and Learning in all academic programmes with a series of workshops and a new website encouraging staff to participate in this new initiative.
Starting this semester, undergraduates majoring in linguistics in the Department of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics can enjoy real-time Korean language lessons with international students at Seoul National University(SNU). The first lecture was held on 7 September.
