1,200 elite CityU athletes champion excellence in academics and sports
CityU actively encourages students to pursue academic knowledge in the spirit of the “Six Arts” of Classical China (rites, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy and arithmetic) by actively immersing themselves in athletic, musical, and intellectual activities.
More than 250 students attended an orientation recently for the Supplemental Instruction Scheme set up by the Faculty of Business (FB) to help freshmen adjust to university learning styles.
A welcoming reception for mainland students joining CityU was held on 14 September. They were the first batch of students recruited through the National Joint College Entrance Examination Scheme.
CityU will hold a University Day cum CityU Banquet on the evening of 21 October (Friday) 2005. This will be an opportunity to lift spirits, enhance a sense of campus community and unify University stakeholders.
In support of CityU’s mission to promote cultural diversity and internationalization, the International and Non-local Students Office (INSO) organized a welcoming ceremony on 2 September for more than 200 students.
