People in Hong Kong have recorded the lowest scores in a region-wide Happiness Index in all areas concerning quality of life, according to a CityU survey of Happiness Index for Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.
CityU has decided to create a new Department of Asian and International Studies in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies with effect from 1 July 2006, and launch a unique programme in East and Southeast Asian studies in September 2006.
