CityU Council Member and Chairman of the Executive Board of Esprit, Mr Michael Ying shared his life and career experiences with over 200 staff and students in the Reading/Seminar Room of the Run Run Shaw Library, 26 April.
Following his successful lecture at the Yale Law School on 29 March, Mr C Raj Kumar, Lecturer in CityU's School of Law, made a presentation for the UN University.
Students, staff and alumni have expressed their deep concerns about Council Chairman Sir Gordon Wu's remarks in Ming Pao on 3 March,and reiterated their support for CityU’s direction.
At a Council meeting on 14 April, lengthy discussions including the University’s role were held. At the end of the meeting, Council Chairman Sir Gordon Wu was convinced and agreed that CityU has indeed adhered to its role.
