The Department of Electronic Engineering of CityU was ranked second worldwide, according to a recent survey conducted by Yuan Ze University in Taiwan.
CityU graduates have swept up most of the prizes in the Best Paper Awards at the 6th IEEE (Hong Kong) Antennas and Propagation/Microwave Theory and Techniques Postgraduate Conference.
Double congratulations are due to Dr Kenji Yum. Not only will he graduate from CityU this week with a PhD in Electronic Engineering, he has also been awarded the Certificate of Excellence in the 2005 Hong Kong Young Scientist Awards.
Nearly 100 of applied research projects were exhibited on the Faculty Industrial Day (FID) organized by CityU’s Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE).
An AI software system jointly designed and developed by CityU and the MTR Corporation has been honoured by the American Association for Artificial Intelligence with the “Innovative Application of Artificial Intelligence” Award 2005.
