The Admissions Office (ADMO), the Faculty of Business (FB) and the School of Graduate Studies joined hands to participate in the ninth China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), from 21 February to 3 March, in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen. The Tour has successfully fulfilled its mission of broadening the University's student recruitment base and developing long-term networks in the mainland.
Starting from the 2004 Entry, JUPAS applicants who have selected CityU's programmes as their Band A choices (choices one to three) can apply for the Self-Recommendation Scheme offered by the University. The Scheme is another initiative by the University to broaden the admission criteria for applicants with non-academic achievements.
The co-operation between CityU's School of Creative Media (SCM) and China's premier film school moved a step closer to reality, after a delegation of 20 leading Chinese educators in film-making and performing arts from the Beijing Film Academy (BFA) visited CityU 28 February.
