Once again President Way Kuo of CityU has led a team of around 240 athletes in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, which was held on 24 October. President Kuo has run the Hong Kong marathon with a CityU delegation for 12 consecutive years, except in 2020 because of Covid-19, exemplifying CityU’s spirit of excellence in both academics and sports.
CityU is holding an exhibition titled “Post-War Hong Kong and the Story of Tat Chee Avenue” from 18 to 31 October.

City University's School of Law presented a wide range of degree programmes at the Law Fair 2003 held in the Exhibition Centre of the China Resources Building on 15 February. CityU, the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Law, and 17 major law firms participated in the Fair, which was a comprehensive exhibition of law-related study and career opportunities. Law firms taking part included Deacons, Clyde and Co, Stephenson Harwood and Lo, Denton Wilde Sapte, and Linklaters.

More than 110 alumni and guests gathered at City University on 6 March to hear Mr Or Ching-fai, General Manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, share his views and experiences on handling employer-employee relations during the current economic downturn. "I never thought that I would have anything to do with osteoporosis," said Ms Chan, an administrative staff member in her late thirties. Her doctor, however, thought her body mass index was low, which means she is underweight, and reminded her of the bone scan offered during CityU's Wellness March 2003. "My scan result suggested that I have a medium-to-high risk of getting osteoporosis."
In September this year,two students from Shanghai FudanU's School of Journalism will start the new semester in CityU's Department of English and Communication(EN).The three year agreement,stipulates that each U will send two undergraduate students to the other for one semester a year.
