Students on the verge of graduation from the Bachelor of Arts in English for Professional Communication programme showcased their accomplishments at the Professional Communication Project Exhibition, held from 24 to 26 March.
CityU featured prominently in The Exhibition of the 425th Anniversary of Cambridge University Press and the 800th Anniversary of the University of Cambridge. Professor Way Kuo, University President, delivered a speech as a guest of honour.
Because of the outbreak of SARS, also known as atypical pneumonia, City University, together with its seven local counterparts, suspended classes for two weeks, from 29 March to 13 April. Although the situation seemed alarming, the two-week suspension was an unexpected holiday for many CityU students, especially for the non-local students who live in halls.
