City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is committed to taking part in community activities and building strong connections with local partners. With this commitment and to let more people taste the fresh milk produced by CityUHK Farm, CityUHK sponsored 1,200 boxes of milk to support the BOC Life Rogaine Charity Race 2024, organised by The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP) on 28 January.

Sponsoring the CityUHK Farm’s milk enabled participants of the race to savour locally produced milk that is fresh, tasty and nutritious.

CityUHK Farm is situated close to Lam Tsuen Wishing Square in Tai Po. Sponsoring the Farm’s milk enabled participants of the race to savour locally produced milk that is fresh, tasty and nutritious. Providing milk for the event allowed CityUHK to both foster its relationship with the local community and contribute to the sustainability of the community.

With the objective of nurturing the holistic development of young people, the AYP encourages them to take up new challenges and develop themselves to overcome difficulties. The AYP shares the philosophy of CityUHK, whose mission is to cultivate and enhance the capability of students. Donating fresh milk from CityUHK Farm for the race is just a small token of CityUHK’s determination to support youth development and charity work of the local community.

CityUHK will continue its efforts to promote and support the advancement of society and make a contribution to the local community.
