Mr. YANG Yang, Director of the Dongguan Songshan Lake Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Administrative Committee, led a delegation to visit CityUHK on 17 March 2025. They were warmly welcomed by Professor LU Chun, Vice-President (Mainland Strategy) of CityUHK, Professor CHEN Fu-Rong, Associate Vice-President (Mainland Collaboration), and Mr ZHAO Yi, Party Branch Secretary of CityUHK (DG). The two sides exchanged views on promoting in-depth cooperation between CityUHK and the Dongguan Songshan Lake Area. The delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves to learn about CityUHK's research capabilities in communications technology.

A delegation from Goertek Inc. visited CityUHK on 19 December. The two sides discussed establishing a strategic partnership, with plans to carry out comprehensive industry-academia collaboration in different locations, such as Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dongguan and Qingdao, covering talent development, student employment, internships, research cooperation, and the establishment of scholarships.

A delegation from the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau and the Bureau of Public Works of Shenzhen Municipality, along with representatives from three mainland universities, visited CityUHK on 19 December. The aim of the visit was to gain in-depth insights into CityUHK's campus planning, management and operations, providing a valuable reference and experience for future campus development in Shenzhen.

The two sides held discussions and exchanged insights on the management and operation experience of the Institute for Advanced Study of CityUHK and technological ethics.
