Honorary Awards Ceremony 2018

Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, University Chancellor, will confer honorary doctorates on the following three prominent individuals at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 26 November:

• Professor Alain Aspect, a Wolf Prize Laureate in Physics – Honorary Doctor of Science;
• Mr Hu Shao Ming Herman, SBS, JP, Chairman of Ryoden Development Limited – Honorary Doctor of Social Science;
• Professor Cédric Villani, the Fields Medal winner in 2010 – Honorary Doctor of Science.

Dr Chung Shui-ming, University Pro-Chancellor; Mr Lester Garson Huang, Council Chairman; Mr Vincent Chow Wing-shing, Deputy Council Chairman, and Professor Way Kuo, President, will attend the ceremony.
