The CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre is a major collaboration between City University of Hong Kong and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. It aims to promote public interest and understanding of low carbon energy and its pivotal role in addressing the impact climate change.
There are five themed zones at the centre covering the generation principles, applications, advantages and limitations of different low carbon energy sources as well as their future development potential.
The media are invited to the tour, which includes a tour of the Centre and a demonstration of the exhibits, and to the opening ceremony afterwards.
