· Rapid detection of lead ions in drinking water – a quick and accurate way to measure lead ions content in drinking water within 10 minutes
· Inspection for rusty gas pipes within concrete wall – gas pipes, normally embedded inside concrete wall, could cause accident if they corrode. A non-destructive testing device has been developed to inspect the rusty condition of these pipes.
· Mobile apps for aerial photography using quadcopters – advanced models of quadcopters are equipped with GPS and 3-axis stabilised camera. A newly developed mobile app allows users to set more complex flight paths, as well as remote video recording over long distances.
