The opening ceremony of the campaign against sexual harassment titled “Write In Her Shoes” cum Sex in the City.U forum will be held on 24 March. The aim is to spread the message about stopping sexual harassment and promote gender equality on campus.
The event is being organised by the Department of Applied Social Studies and the Committee Against Sexual Harassment (CASH) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU), and the Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women.
Dr York Chow Yat-ngok, Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission, Ms Doris Fok Yuen-hung, Chairperson of the Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women, and Dr Leung Lai-ching, Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Social Studies and Member of CASH, will discuss sexual harassment and gender equality.
In addition, a multimedia art exhibition about sexual harassment and gender equality will be held from 24 to 29 March in the Blue Zone of Academic 1, CityU.
