CityU undergraduates undertake Antarctica expedition

Twenty-three undergraduates from different schools and departments at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will embark on an expedition to the Antarctic on 14 December to explore extreme environments just like real scientists. Environmental and ecological data will be collected, interpreted and presented in new forms of creativity using media art. Lasting for a total 21 days, it is the first-ever Antarctic venture organised by a local university in Hong Kong.

 

The participating students will introduce the journey and explain their research and exploration in Antarctica at the press conference.
